Honor / Pleasure
The phrase request the honour of your presence is reserved for weddings held in a house of worship. If you are getting married on a boat or on the beach you should use another phrase.
Honor vs Honour
In actual English, it is honour. Americans write honor, and is commonly used. There are many other words like colour, favourite, etc have been shortened
to color, favorite, etc. Whichever you select to use, follow the same spelling throughout such as favor or favour.
The Bride is listed first
There are a few cultures that prefer the groom to be listed first, but it is typical for the bride to be given the honor of being listed first.

Reply Card and Envelope - Find out who will be attending

Reply dates
The rsvp / respond date is usually 2 to 4 weeks before the wedding depending on how soon the wedding is, when the caterer needs the information or personal
desire. Keep in mind that you usually have some people that don't respond that you will need time to find and get a response from.
What to include
When the responses pour
in, what do you want to learn... who they are from, how many are coming, how many children or adults, meal preferences, events they will attend, dietary
issues? You can ask for any information you like.
Favor or Favour
In actual English, it is favour. Americans write favor, and is commonly used. There are many other words like colour, favourite, etc have been shortened
to color, favorite, etc. Whichever you select to use, follow the same spelling throughout such as honor or honour.
M or Name
Typically a line is on the reply card for the guest to write their name. Traditionally the line has a capital M where they should begin
their name Mr. or Mrs. Modern traditions are changing this line to have the word name or name(s) which is found less confusing. Either are correct.
R.s.v.p.
This is an abbreviation for "repondez s’il vous plait" or "please respond" in French. To use the word "please" with R.s.v.p. is therefore redundant.

Enclosure Cards: You are not required to include any enclosure cards. But here are examples of other cards that could be included.
SPECIAL NOTE: It is not considered proper to include ANY information about registry with the invitation.
Wedding websites are a great way to get the information to your guests. Stating no children or adults only is considered a bit blunt.
Direction Card

Size of card
Should it be the largest card? Medium?
To more than one place
You can certainly provide directions to more than one place. Do you need directions to a hotel, to the ceremony, to the reception, to the reception from the ceremony. Anything is possible. Keep in mind you do not need to provide every option.
Maps you want used
You can send us via email a graphic image of the map you would like to use. It needs to be high resolution. We recommend a minimum of 600 dpi and then saved as a jpeg. It works best if the graphic is even larger than what you want printed.
Have a Map Created
You can send us a low resolution version or hand drawn (example would be from Mapquest or other website) and we will redraw it. This is a $75 charge.

Size of card
If you know exact measurements that you want, you can specify, otherwise we will configure your cards for you.
Reception and Ceremony at same site
If your reception will be in the same location as the ceremony, a separate reception card is not necessary. we can also add lines at the end of the invitation that specify Reception to follow or Reception immediately following ceremony.
Reception at separate site
If your reception is held elsewhere we can also add lines at the end of the invitation that specify the details. Such as Reception at six o'clock « The Rhinebeck Inn « Rhinebeck, New York. However this can get crowded so sometimes a reception card is best.
