Order A Sample

You can...

  • Request swatches (small pieces) of particular colors and / or patterns. Not sure of our color names, explore the colors link above or put in the notes something simple like "dark blues" - free

  • Get an individual sample piece - $5.00 for first one, $2.50 for each additional
    (such as a random 7 x 7 pocket fold, this is only the pocket fold, no cards, no envelopes, just the piece you selected). You do not select the color, only the size and shape of the item.
    Note: this sample fee is not credited back to you when you place future order

  • Get a pre-printed invitation sample - $10.00 each
    This is typically an extra invitation from someone’s order or a special run of invitations made for this purpose. You will get to specify the type invitation you want (for example 5x7 signature side pocket fold invitation) but no other details. The invitation will include all the envelopes and cards that go with that particular invitation. It will be an invitation that is just like what a guest would receive. Below are photos of some of the invitations we are currently sending. Note: this sample fee is not credited back to you when you place future order

Do you just have to have swatches all the colors and patterns? Then you need to order a mini deck. You can do this at http://shop.envelopments.com/ You will get all the available options with pricing and availability option codes. The pieces are about the size of a business card. Mini Deck - $20.00 each (includes standard shipping). For a limited time, Envelopments is offering a $20.00 rebate off your order of Envelopments products of $200.00 or more

Find an invitation that is close to what you think you would like (format and size) and then "personalize it"

We will first create an email proof of the invitation and quote. You are then welcome to make a set of corrections or changes. When you approve the email version your credit card information will be submitted and you will be charged $20.00 for the sample. You are not obligated to purchase the full order of invitations. A quote is provided with the email version and mailed sample only as a reference for you.

Please keep in mind we will do our best to put together your exact sample. However we do not keep every color in every size in stock. If we do not have the colors you request we will send you swatches of those colors for you to see.

If you do not wish to use the order forms feel free to send an email with the details of what you would like or to call and discuss.

We need to know:

  • Envelope choice (color and size, if you want a return address printed on it, will we be addressing the envelopes to your guests)
  • Pocket fold (size and color) or other enclosure option
  • Layer(s) color and sizes (you can be general like "largest card" or specific "5.125 x 4.75" or we will select sizes for you)
  • Invitation card (color, text, typeface(s))
  • Insert cards (sizes (if you have an opinion, or we will decide size based on text), colors, layer colors, text)
